Our Programs

Scholarships

Scholarships

Scholarships

We have held one event each year of existence and have donated scholarships to Eastern Arizona College students from these fundraisers.

We have set up a process with the foundation executive director to distribute the monies in various categories (number, size, and type of scholarships) up to “full annual tuition”.  Currently, the monies are available to any and all registered students.  These scholarships are public record and may be viewed on the Eastern Arizona College website.

Approximately 100% of our profits have gone towards scholarships after all bills are paid

The Events

Scholarships

Scholarships

These events have been an “evening out” (usually 6 PM to 12 AM) type for families and singles. The main attraction is the Mariachi & Folklorico entertainment dinner show tickets.

There are games for the kids and a live music dance. There are vendor booths for crafts, art, food, and even a genealogy booth. We have announcements, presentations, and raffles during the show intermission(s) and breaks.

The Future

The Future

We are excited and realize a permanent location for operation is needed and we are actively discussing and planning this; we think of a building-sized to present events, meetings, displays, and museum type facilities.

We are looking at creating two different schools, one for mariachi students and another for Folklorico dancing. We are encouraged by the response from parents and students' interest.

We are planning quarterly meetings in order to present and receive information and to cultivate interest and new ideas for our “old” culture.
